The jared Stout Band
The Jared Stout Band is an alt-country powerhouse based out of Southwestern Virginia. Fresh off the release of their second studio album, “Heavy From the Sky,” these FloydFest22 “On-The-Rise” runner-ups continue to deliver by bringing energetic and soulful originals to the stage. Stout's relatable songwriting and powerful voice fronts a group of audibly and emotionally dynamic musicians that carry a performance like no other. Holding you on every note, The JSB is no show to miss.
Creating in a state of constant adventure, Asheville, NC-based Lua Flora has successfully unified sounds that typically don’t go together. The electrifying passion and introspective lyrics of songwriter Evan Button, meet a mesmerizing blend of Caribbean, Eastern, and American music to create a previously undefined genre; “Beach Folk.” This cultural phenomenon lends itself to easy listening from the perfect barrels of the Pacific Ocean to the hollers of Appalachia. In three quick years, the project has gone from backyard parties to national stages across the U.S. supporting Satsang, Franc Moody, Of Good Nature, and Kendall Street Company in addition to festival appearances at Front Porch Fest, Kentucky Yoga Festival, Between the Trails, and others.

Jordan T Morrison & the foothill boys
Jordan Thomas Morrison is an American singer and songwriter. His music is a mix of neotraditional country and bluegrass with a touch of folk and southern rock. He is most often accompanied by his 4 piece backing band "The Foothill Boys.” He was born and raised in Patrick County, where he still resides today with his wife and dog. His music is heavily influenced by his homeland in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia. He has always had an interest in the traditional style of music and just an older, simpler way of living. His lifestyle and everything in between has reflected that. He's often referred to as "an old soul" and if you were to ask him about it, he would say "I wouldn't want it any other way.”
rebecca porter & the rhinestone roses
Rebecca Porter embodies the soulful, lonesome sound of the Shenandoah Valley. Porter tours extensively around her home state of Virginia, spotlighting other overlooked voices in the state, as well as curating a monthly Americana showcase at The Golden Pony in Harrisonburg called "Honky Tonk Nights." With completely independent legwork, Porter's music is making rounds nationally and internationally. Audiences react wonderfully to Porter's fusion of honky tonk and singer-songwriter sounds. Porter tours with a tight, professional band, The Rhinestone Roses, but can command an audience solo if necessary. Most recently, Porter was inducted into Rissi Palmer's Color Me Country Class of 2024.
